HSS South Sudan: Research Methodology (2019)
This report explains the Human Security Survey (HSS) methodology as applied in South Sudan. Since 2017, the HSS has been implemented in several locations in South Sudan, collecting thousands of interviews on civilians' experiences, perception, and expectations in situations of conflict.
The HSS research methodology was developed by PAX's Protection of Civilians department and includes a series of complementary activities, including population-based research, community engagement and advocacy.
