HSS 2018: Summary findings from Eastern Lakes State, South Sudan

The Human Security Survey (HSS) was developed by PAX's Protection of Civilians team and includes a series of complementary activities, including population-based research, community engagement and advocacy.

This report reflects on the 2018 Human Security Survey outcomes of Eastern Lakes State, South Sudan, which took place over the course of three weeks in October 2018, as well as a subsequent community security dialogue in Nyang, Yirol East county, Eastern Lakes State.

During the three-day dialogue the main survey findings and its practical implications were presented, discussed and validated. Participants jointly worked out an action plan for addressing security priorities locally.
