Saba Azeem

Saba leads the PoC team’s work in Iraq. Her work includes collecting large-scale, representative data on civilians’ perceptions of their own safety and security; facilitating community dialogues between civilians and their security providers; and facilitating with others in the team the drafting of the first Iraqi National PoC policy, of which she is now spearheading the implementation. Before joining PAX in 2019, Saba has lived and worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kenya, Pakistan, and Syria.
