John Malith Mabor

John is our Senior Project Officer for the PoC project in South Sudan. He trains local survey researchers, supervises data collection, and facilitates data validation sessions and community dialogues on Human Security Survey results. He was awarded the PAX Peace Dove 2023 for his active involvement in the Dinka-Nuer peace agreement in 2018. During this completely grassroots-initiated peace process, customary authorities from the Dinka communities of the then-Eastern Lakes State and Nuer communities of Southern Unity State agreed to make peace after years of intercommunal conflict. John is a trained lawyer.
