Charles Findlay

Charles Findlay serves as one of PAX’s Military Advisors and Trainers, bringing  diverse experience from across UK Defence. He began his career in the Royal Marines before commissioning into the Royal Air Force, and later specialised as a Human Terrain Specialist attached to the British Army. His experience is rooted in the practical application of human security, with a focus on the mutual benefit it delivers for both security actors and the communities in which they operate. This approach has been shaped through operational deployments in Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, and Mali. He brings an experience-led, pragmatic approach to training and advisory work, helping organisations build capability that is both operationally effective and grounded in a clear understanding of people, context, and long-term stability.
