Charles is our Senior Policy Officer for the Sahel. His work entails working alongside local peacebuilding partners in the region and connecting their insights with the prevailing policy debates in the EU institutions and member state capitals. He has a background in peace and conflict research from Finland Tampere University and has previously worked on a number of issues within international relations including the Palestine/Israel conflict, Afghanistan, Iranian-Saudi relations, and Algerian-Moroccan relations.
