Charles Findlay

Charles Findlay serves as one of PAX’s Advisors and Trainers, bringing extensive experience supporting UK Defence in a civilian policy and advisory capacity, for instance contributing to the development and implementation of approaches that integrate human security into complex operational environments. His experience is rooted in the practical application of human security, focusing on the mutual benefit it delivers for both security actors and local communities, based on his work in Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, and Mali. Charles brings an experience-led, pragmatic approach to his work, helping build capability that is both operationally effective and grounded in a clear understanding of people, context, and long-term stability.
