Iraq PoC policy launch
In February 2025, the PAX team celebrated a big milestone when the Government of Iraq officially launched its first-ever national Protection of Civilians Policy in an event that was co-organized with the Iraqi Al-Amal Association and PAX.
The PoC policy launch is the result of years of engagements with various Iraqi authorities in developing the policy. We look forward to continuing our work by also supporting the policy's implementation.
