International support to local security actors in the Sahel – PAX Protection of Civilians Conference 2021

On day 1 (theme: International support to local security actors), Yéri Alice Kambiré (Regional Conflict Analyst at the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP)), Assitan Diallo (President at Association des Femmes Africaines pour la Recherche et le Développement (AFARD)) and Olivier Guiryanan (Executive Director at Bureau de Conseils, de Formations, de Recherches et d’Etude (BUCOFORE)) engaged in an interactive discussion on how international support to local security actors contribute to peace and PoC in the Sahel and recommendations for future (international) interventions in the region.
