HSS Iraq: Research Methodology (2019)

This report explains the Human Security Survey (HSS) methodology as applied in Iraq. Since 2017, the HSS has been implemented in several locations in Iraq, with thousands of surveys conducted on civilians' experiences, perceptions, and expectations in situations of conflict.

The HSS research methodology has been developed by PAX's Protection of Civilians department and includes a series of complementary activities, including population-based research, community engagement, and advocacy.
