HSS South Sudan Dashboard

The Human Security Survey (HSS) is a survey methodology developed by PAX’s Protection of Civilians department to expand civilians’ voice and agency on protection issues. In an effort to make our data as accessible as possible to experts and practitioners, we have developed dashboards that allow you to explore the HSS data for yourself.

How to use the HSS dashboards:

Our interactive dashboards display the data collected in Iraq and South Sudan since 2017. Each page corresponds to a different theme. You can navigate through the pages using the < > buttons at the bottom of the page. Furthermore, you can filter the HSS results by gender, state, and survey round, using the options in the selection pane on the left. (Note: filter options may temporarily (dis)appear based on other options selected.) If you click on a given response in any graph, you can see how it influences the other graphs in the corresponding page. (Note: use Ctrl to make multiple selections.) Click on the response again to undo the selection. Some methodological changes have been made from year to year, for example in answer categories. When this is the case this is indicated with an asterisk *.
